Ages 4-10 in Grades K thru 5th grade
Ages 13-16 in Grades 9-12

NHYFSC Commissioner's Statement

Dear Parents /Guardians, Volunteers,

We are excited to welcome you and/or your child to our football and cheerleading programs. By joining us, you are committing to a journey that will require time, hard work, and sacrifices, but we believe it will be a meaningful and rewarding experience.

Our conference, the NHYFSC, proudly supports over 4,000 participants. We prioritize conditioning and safety, though we must acknowledge that despite all reasonable precautions, injuries can occur. Football and cheerleading are contact sports, and even the best equipment cannot eliminate all risks. Our football teams are organized by age and grade, while cheerleading squads are grouped by age, grade, and ability. 

We want to emphasize that participation in football and cheerleading should not come at the expense of academic responsibilities. The NHYFSC takes pride in the scholastic achievements of its members. Sports should complement the learning experience, not replace it. As a condition of membership, everyone involved with the NHYFSC and its member associations must adhere to all national, conference, and local rules and regulations.

Our commitment is to provide a positive environment for all youth in our program. It is crucial for parents, fans, and coaches to understand that negative and unsportsmanlike behavior can undermine this environment. Therefore, we expect everyone to refrain from such behavior and to comply with any requests made by local and state officials during events.
